Melbourne City will be without a couple of key members of its Women’s squad for the remainder of the season.
Leah Davidson will today undergo surgery after suffering an ankle injury at training last week.
Following the surgery, she will remain interstate where she will be supported by her family as she will be required to stay off her feet for three weeks.
Caitlin Karic has also been ruled out for the remainder of the season. She recently had a knee arthroscope which went well, but unfortunately the rehabilitation process won’t see her return this season.
Everyone at City will be right behind Leah and Caitlin in their recoveries and we look forward to seeing them back on the pitch soon!
