City football is back at Casey Fields as our City girls welcome Brisbane Roar for their 2022/23 home opener and we’re excited to offer all fans free entry.
The girls had an early season bye in round 2, but come into the game in strong form following their dominant 4-1 victory over Wellington Phoenix in round 1.
Rhianna Pollicina was the best player on the pitch with 2 goals and 1 assist as Maria Rojas marked her stunning City debut with a goal of her own.
This Saturday’s match will be a first for our ALW team as they run out for their first competitive clash at Casey Fields.

Want to be involved in the pre-game guard of honour as the players walk onto the pitch?
We’ll be selecting kids from the crowd at 2:40pm. Wear your best Melbourne City attire for a chance to get picked.
Post Game Activities
Macca’s Play on the Pitch
About 10 minutes after the final whistle, fans will be invited onto the field for a chance to play on the pitch. Bring a ball or buy one at the merchandise van.
Player Meet & Greet
While you’re on the pitch having a kick around, you can even say hello to all the City players and get selfie too!
Free Team Poster
We’ve got a FREE team poster for fans to collect at the gate – available while stocks last.
Keep it with you to get it signed by your favourite players after the game during the player meet & greet.

The closest train station is Cranbourne Station, while the 897 bus will drop you off less than a 10 minute walk away from the ground.
Parking
Ample parking is available for free around the Casey Fields complex. We suggest arriving early to ensure you can get a park as close to VFL Oval as possible.
