The Melbourne City Football School is back bigger and better than ever for 2022!
After the success of the program in recent years of providing a great pathway to the Club’s Academy, we’ve now expanded to run our weekly programs across four locations.
Quality talent continues to be developed at Bundoora and Brighton as well as the City Academy home of Casey Fields, so we’re very excited to be launching our second South East venue in Keysborough.

Based at Tatterson Park on Chapel Road, our City Academy coaches are looking forward to teaching the City style of play to a number of talented new faces.
City Head of Academy Simon Zappia said he was excited to see City Football School weekly programs returning and expanding in 2022.
“The pathway continued to grow in 2021 with over 80% of our new Under 14 academy squad having progressed from the Football School,” Zappia said.
“This is a testament to the fantastic delivery of the program which emulates the academies methodology in an age-appropriate manner.
“The transition for the players from the Football School into the Academy has been seamless with the foundations being clearly laid.”
The Melbourne City Football School provides authentic and creative football coaching programs for boys and girls aged U5 – U14, utilising the training philosophy and methodology of Melbourne City FC and our sister English Premier League club Manchester City.
Participants have the option to train either once or twice a week in a program that provides young players with the coaching support, insight and the football education they need to help take their game to the next level.
