Rado Vidosic’s Men’s squad will have their eyes on extending their history-making run as they compete for an unprecedented fourth consecutive Premiers Plate.
Their season will commence on Saturday 21 October in a blockbuster evening kick-off against cross-town rival, Western United. This will be the first of four double-headers at AAMI Park this season.
Looking across to the Women’s side, we have a number of exciting new and returning faces who are set to light up the pitch this season.
The Women’s World Cup hype will roll on to the ALW season, with a pair of Football Ferns stars in Hannah Wilkinson and Rebekah Stott pulling on the City blue, along with Canadian goalkeeper Lysianne Proulx in her first season at the club.
Our first home match will see us face Canberra United as part of the October 21 double header.
The most highly anticipated night of the season, however, is set to take place on Saturday 23 December when for the first time ever, we host Melbourne Victory in a Christmas Derby double header.
