Melbourne City can confirm that Dean Bouzanis has mutually agreed to terminate his contract with immediate effect while Denis Genreau will depart the club after the conclusion of his contract.

Bouzanis joined the club in January 2016, making 57 league appearances with a loan spell to PEC Zwolle in 2018. The goalkeeper was also part of the Club’s 2016 FFA Cup triumph as well as City’s finals runs in 2017 and 2018. The goalkeeper departs the Club’s New South Wales hub immediately.

Genreau – who graduated from the Melbourne City FC academy – made his first senior appearance in 2016 at the age of 17. The midfielder totalled 11 league appearances during his three seasons at the Club, with a season-long loan to PEC Zwolle in 2018. Genreau hasn’t joined the team in its New South Wales hub.

The Club would like to thank Dean and Denis for their contribution and wishes them well for the future.
