Ritchie De Laet

Belgian defender and midfielder Ritchie de Laet joins Melbourne City FC on a one-year loan deal from English Championship side, Aston Villa, ahead of the 2018/19 season. The former English Premier League (EPL) player has made 47 appearances in the league, representing Manchester United, Norwich City and Leicester City. Alongside his EPL experience, de Laet has made 128 appearances in the English Championship, highlighting his experience at the elite level. The 29-year-old will not only look to make an impact on the field, but also help guide City’s youngsters as he reunites with Head Coach Warren Joyce.
