Biography
French defender, Samuel Souprayen, joined City ahead of the 2023/24 season on a two-year deal. Souprayen mad the move to Melbourne from Bulgarian first division club Botev Plovdiv, where he has spent the last two seasons after a long career in France and Italy.
During his time in Italy, Souprayen made 90 appearances in all competitions for Serie A club Hellas Verona.
He has also spent a number of seasons in France – featuring in both the first and second divisions during stints with Dijon, Stade Rennais and AJ Auxerre.
