Melbourne City defender Harry Shillington has put pen to paper, with the 19-year-old re-signing with the Club ahead of the 2025/26 season.
A product of the renowned City Academy, Shillington has been part of the Club since the age of 12 and continues to develop within City’s system.
Shillington remained closely involved with the senior squad throughout the 2024/25 campaign, earning selection in six matchday squads and impressing the coaching staff with his professionalism, training standards and development across the season.

He made his senior debut in the 2023 Australia Cup Quarter Final against MetroStars, coming off the bench late to win a decisive penalty in stoppage time, and has remained a standout performer and leader at VPL1 level.
Having fully recovered from an early-season ankle injury, the defender continues to grow as part of City’s table-topping Youth Team.

Melbourne City FC Director of Football, Michael Petrillo, said:
“While Harry ultimately didn’t see A-League minutes during our Championship-winning season, he showed great progress in his development, especially after working his way back from an early-season ankle injury.
“If he maintains the same work ethic and commitment, I have no doubt he’ll be pushing strongly for senior opportunities in the season ahead.”
Harry Shillington said:
“I learnt so much last season, and it was an amazing experience to be part of such a successful squad.
“I’m really happy to be back at the Club for another year, and I’m focused on continuing to improve and doing everything I can to contribute on the pitch next season.”
