Melbourne City has locked in our squad ahead of Saturday evening’s away clash Brisbane, with our sights set on a fourth consecutive win.
A productive run at AAMI Park has seen us build strong momentum at a crucial stage of the season, with consecutive wins over Western Sydney, Central Coast and Wellington Phoenix lifting us firmly into Finals contention.
With just two games remaining, we remain right in the mix not only to secure our place in the top six, but also to potentially push towards hosting a Week 1 Final.
Up first is a Roar side who will be desperate for a win after a challenging run of form, though they did previously hold us to a scoreless draw at the same venue back in October.
Confidence is high at City though following our recent form, and there is set to be minimal change to the squad as Aurelio Vidmar and his coaching staff look to maintain continuity heading into another important fixture.
Ben Mazzeo and Emin Durakovic have both been promoted to the extended squad, adding further depth across our attacking and midfield options, while there are no confirmed omissions from the group that secured the win at AAMI Park last weekend.
