Melbourne City has locked in our squad for the final fixture of the regular season, as we look to carry our strong run of form into Sunday evening’s clash with Adelaide United at AAMI Park.
We enter the match in red-hot form, having won five of our last six games – including each of our past four – with Aurelio Vidmar’s side firmly focused on securing a home Elimination Final to open our Finals campaign.
A strong and settled squad has been named as we return home, with a couple of key inclusions providing a timely boost ahead of the Finals.

Takeshi Kanamori is set to return after being sidelined since early February with a knee injury. The Japanese winger has worked tirelessly through his rehabilitation and now adds further quality and depth to our attacking options.
Nathaniel Atkinson has also been included in the extended squad after missing last weekend’s trip to Brisbane.
We will remain without both Ryan Teague (knee) and Daniel Arzani (hamstring) for another week, though both players are progressing well and are expected to be in contention to return for Week 1 of the Finals.
There are no confirmed omissions from last weekend’s squad as we look to maintain momentum and finish the regular season strongly in front of our home fans.
