Melbourne City FC can confirm Emin Durakovic will depart the Club following the conclusion of his contract.
A product of the City Academy, Durakovic joined Melbourne City at the age of 12 and progressed through the Club’s development pathway before earning a scholarship contract in 2022.
The midfielder signed his first professional contract in 2023 and made his senior debut in January 2025, going on to make 33 appearances across all competitions, including 28 during the 2025/26 campaign.

Melbourne City FC Director of Football Michael Petrillo thanked Durakovic for his contribution to the Club.
“Emin’s progression through our Academy and into the first team is something we’re incredibly proud of and reflects the hard work and commitment he has shown throughout his time at the Club,” Petrillo said.
“Having joined Melbourne City at a young age, he embraced every stage of his development and earned the opportunity to represent the Club at senior level.
“Emin developed into a valued member of our squad and consistently demonstrated the professionalism, character and dedication required to succeed in a high-performance environment.
“We thank Emin for his contribution to Melbourne City and his commitment to the Club over many years.”
