Melbourne City fullback Aziz Behich has been selected in Head Coach Graham Arnold’s 23-man Socceroos squad for the upcoming October FIFA Men’s International Window.
Fresh from his opening goal in the AFC Champions League over night, Behich will travel with Australia to London to take on England at Wembley Stadium before facing New Zealand in Brentford.
Behich and his Australian teammates, including former City stars Jordan Bos, Connor Metcalfe, Tom Glover and Riley McGree, will take on the Three Lions at the iconic Wembley Stadium – the first time an Australian side has played at one of the most famous venues in world football.
The Socceroos will then take on the All Whites, as the old rivals play for the recently rediscovered New Zealand Australia Soccer Ashes Trophy after it had been missing for more than 60 years.
