City takes VicHealth Gender Equality in Sport Leadership Pledge

City takes VicHealth Gender Equality in Sport Leadership Pledge

Melbourne City FC is proud to be partnering with VicHealth to support more Victorian women and girls to get active.

Melbourne City FC W-League star Kyah Simon and CEO Scott Munn attended the State Netball and Hockey Centre on Thursday to sign the VicHealth Gender Equality in Sport Leadership Pledge – a commitment to promote gender equality with Australian sport.

With the support of VicHealth funding, the Club will continue to promote gender equality and increase the profile of women’s sport by promoting the This Girl Can – Victoria campaign to our members and the Victorian community.

By taking the VicHealth Gender Equality in Sport Leadership Pledge, Melbourne City FC is also committing to achieving gender balance in all public events and marketing, and prioritising access for women and girls in all facilities we use.

Find out more about the This Girl Can Victoria campaign by visiting thisgirlcan.com.au and you can join the supportive This Girl Can community on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
