Tim Cahill

The Socceroos striker’s start to 2017 has seen him pick up back-to-back nominations for the Etihad Player of the Month, headlining January with his double against the Central Coast Mariners.

His brace secured the result for City at AAMI Park but his work in City’s midfield over the month has seen him pick up the nomination, being involved in 56 duels throughout the four games in January.

Cahill has showed once again that he has plenty to offer in the A-League as he continues his impressive run with the Club.

Ivan Franjic

Despite an setback at the start of the season, Ivan Franjic was back to his best in January, picking up his second ever Etihad Player of the Month nomination.

The fullback’s month was topped off with the winner against Western Sydney Wanders as he put his hand up for one of the goals of the season, driving a half-volley home at AAMI Park.

Notching up 220 passes with a 86% passing accuracy as well as winning over 75% of his duels throughout the month, Franjic has made it an impressive month as he works his way back into Socceroos equations.

Bruce Kamau

The mercurial winger finds his way into the nominees for the Etihad Player of the Month after an impressive month on the wing.

Despite not finding the back of the net, Kamau leads his side for assists this season with six, most notably in January, supplying a pinpoint cutback for Bruno Fornaroli against Adelaide.

Kamau completed 122 passes during January, competing in 46 duels and wining 20 in the four matches against Western Sydney, Adelaide, Central Coast and Newcastle.
