Our A-League Men’s season opener is almost here as your City boys get set to travel to Newcastle to take on the Jets.
The squad will depart post-training on Friday, with Aurelio Vidmar now revealing who’s in line to take to the pitch in Round 1.

It was confirmed earlier on Thursday that a number of key players will be unavailable for the start of the season, including; Mathew Leckie, Max Caputo and Ale Lopane.
From returning stars to potential Club debutants and youngsters ready to make their mark – there are still plenty of exciting potential stories to come out of our Round 1 squad.
Our 2021 Joe Marston Medallist, Nathaniel Atkinson, comes straight into the squad, while fellow Championship teammate Marco Tilio is fully fit following an injury-interrupted return on loan last season.
Yonatan Cohen and Andreas Kuen are both well and truly in the mix to make their Club debuts and will be on the plane to Newcastle on Friday afternoon.
Young guns Medin Memeti and Peter Antoniou have both been included in the 20-man squad, while Academy product Kavian Rahmani joins them with the trio a chance to make their A-League debuts.
