Melbourne City FC is pleased to welcome Origin Energy as its newest partner ahead of the 2021-22 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
As part of the new three-year partnership, Origin will support Melbourne City in reducing the carbon footprint of the Club’s new home, the City Football Academy in South-East Melbourne. For the first stage of construction, Origin will provide a 39.7Kw solar system, 13.5kw of battery storage, and 4 electric vehicle charging stations.
Origin is a leading Australian retailer, providing electricity, natural gas, LPG, solar and home battery solutions to millions of Australian homes and businesses.
As an ‘Official Membership Partner’, Origin will also provide Club members with special energy offers and provide fans with exclusive match day experiences.
Football fans won’t have to wait long to see the partnership in action, with Origin to appear on the men’s playing shorts this season, beginning on Friday night with the A-League’s season opener against Brisbane Roar at AAMI Park.
